Between beginning my journalism program in fall 2022 and graduating spring 2025, I've held positions as news reporter, news editor and managing editor. Through each role, I have gained a strong sense of news values and content production cycles. I oftened coach reporters and fellow section editors, understanding the importance of running a balanced newsroom environment. Now a Dow Jones News Fund business reporting intern for the Albuquerque Journal, I'm excited to listen, learn and write about what issues are important to New Mexican citizens.
